Fantastic, a gate with a church into the gate as a frame and bothly has the same architecture style...I just love that... I mean when the photographer try to find the best point of view and here you 'use' that gate with the best way! PERFECT!!!

Yes, Jim, I was definitely wrong.... The guy who I thought you were on another site was "Jim B." and he looked very similar to you but I now see his name is "Jim Booker" and he really looks nothing like you except for the beard w/o mustache.

You've captured some nice light here, Dave. The sky almost looks polarised, though the stars are a dead giveaway. The purple hues are especially nice.

Thank you, Sheryl. I just bracket with various exposure times until it looks right. Looks can be deceiving in the camera display though. This one came out fine at 19 seconds. About the longest for this scene. The others were much darker.

Great shot here Dave! I love the purple hues, and the rich, dark blue sky! Good choice of angle as well...really makes the shot. So why 19 seconds? Any particular reason, or did you just take a "shot in the dark"...haha
