About The only Black-necked Stilt in amongst thousands of migratory shorebirds (mainly Red Knot, Sanderling, Dunlin, Short-billed Dowitcher, and Ruddy Turnstone), this bird stood out, and stood above all the others! I liked the contrast of the black and white against the rusty reds. I only wish I had a stable platform and a tripod, rather than an unstable boat, as I'd have preferred a bigger depth of field to have the birds in the foreground in focus as well.
