Black border

Nick Karagiaouroglou Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:127263} 7/6/2007
A very nice moment, something like just a few figures in darker hues in front of the white infinity, that connects the solitude of the things we see to the solitude of thoughts of the photographer that sees only his subject, separated from any influences from the "outer" world, and relying to the own brainstorming.

The photo offers more than one ways of observation. One of them is definitely the documentary character that it has. In this direction it conveys much of the work of a reporter for newspapers, that many of your photos exhibit in a subtle way. Not the explosive kind of photography about VIPs and the like but rather the kind of photography we see in news about arts, traditional things, and culture in general.

A dark border would help to have a better "definition" of the scene, since the white border makes the photo a bit "undefinite" considering its frame.

Best wishes,

Nick
