Hello Paul, After your nice comment on my picture, i was looking in your portofolio. Seen lot's of nice portraits :) but it's not my thing (Yet) so i was looking for a nice landscape and found it!!! Very nice and a good job about the sky. Sorry to hear they broke the place down :(
Greetings Chris.

WAS fantastic. I had the privilege of two model shoots there before the owners tore it down a couple weeks ago. :)

I really like this!! the blue of the sky with the wistful clouds the age of the barn against the long grass, it looks like a day for lemonade and walking in summer breezes

Here's the original photo, Roger. As you can see, the cloudy sky needed some work.

No one had noticed any manipulation, so that means I must have done a decent job.

Not at all, Roger. I'm replacing a drab sky with an aesthetically pleasing one. It was also cropped, saturation was boosted 10% and I emphasized the dark/light portions of the wood just enough to catch your eye.
Not cheating - just completing 'my vision'

Thanks, Roger. It was a pretty grey sky that afternoon, so I put this one in its place (shot the day before while going into the grocery store).

Not this time, Shirley, but I pass by here (only a mile from my house) quite often.
This time, I was enjoying how the heavy rain soaked some parts of the old wood, but others stayed dry.
