That flower just jumps out at you. Very nice and sharp on the flower. IMHO I might would have included the top part of fingers too. Very neat idea. You are doing great! Keep them coming.

Annemette, Thanks for your comments and words of encouragement. I thought of doing this one as b&w with color just on the flower, but I think it looks better this way. I'm looking foward to learning a lot on here. Thanks.

Good idea that makes me smile. A simple and happy image.
I did sth. similar that I never posted yet:-)Good contrast and dark background. Good luck on your photos. I have been on UF for a bit more than a year, and I´ve learned a lot just from viewing and discussing other photos, so I´m sure the same will happen to you:-)
