Wow. Absolutely wonderful work . . . excellent DOF . . . spot-on composition . . . extra kudos for your model and choice not to use the hula hoop . . . Love the "Shake it Like . . . " title.
I can see this on a CD cover EASILY!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Absolutely Andre. I think the most satisfying part for me was not so much the photograph (even though I love it to pieces), but being able to believably "sell" that photograph to the virtual masses as complete product. You're right, had I gone overboard or used the wrong prop here, I would have lost a portion of the market.
Great insight as always Andre, thank you so much.

Rina, A couple of notes on this one. First of all, I think you were wise to leave the Hula Hoop out of it. I know what you would have been trying to do including that kind of prop. But, by leaving it out, you have created an image that seems to me to be very sellable (is that a word?) to a large demographic. I don't mean to say that it is too middle of the road, just that it is the kind of image that a lot of different age groups would not be embarassed to be associated with. I hope that makes sense? I think the colourizing, grain and great DOF give the image just the right amount of quirkiness you were looking for.
You could have chosen to go over the top with this image, but I don't think that was the intention at all. So, a very pleasing good natured image. Andre
