About Nice setting, pity my subjects had wandered on (we had a hut to reach). Time to do three shots -one on noticing it, another to snap with them in it then the last to frame it... if only I'd got the order right.
Still such a lovely blight (thus is how the beech rees here die) they shot some rivendell from lotr round the corner

Hello Bridgette, Nice to meet you. This is taken in the southern alps of N.Z.
They shot some scenes from the lord of the rings nearby.
I agree about the medieval sense.
The u.f. non aligned thing exists as an option for varius reasons I guess. Mine was one day I got sick of all the flag waving that goes on. I may change back to it though because for what it's worth it does represent where I am and perhaps I should acknowledge that. You know, owning the good and bad of it.
