Thanks Nicole.
I take my flower pictures in the conservatory using natural light.

I have two cork notice boards joined with backgrounds, white & green, pinned to them.
I set the camera on a tripod, take a couple of shots of the background to set the WB and then place the flower.
Occasionally I'll use a piece of crumpled tinfoil to bounce light under the flower.
Very simple and inexpensive but it works for me.

It´s a really minimal depth of field,like it very much because it`s simplicity and colors.
