Thanks, John. I don't know the right word either unless it's "hollow log." This is very old technology, still in use in New Mexico.

Nice shot, that kind of water "tubes" (sorry for the wrong word...don't know the right one...) are very impressive as that object is not something we can see every day, impressive the 'column' that made by woods...

Thanks, Michele. I first saw this aquaduct on my first visit to New Mexico in the early 90's. The community must be maintaining it, as it is still in good shape.
