Marcus -- Thanks for commenting. I am going back to NYC in a few months and plan to check out this place to see what it looks like when it is open for business and condos for sale. I imagine the rich and famous will be able to afford these $$ condos.

Tycho -- Reluctantly I have been "on the road" when September was supposed to have been a non-travel month. As Robert Burns said "The best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft a-gley".
My travels this past month did not permit any photos and by "rule" I was unable to carry a camera with me. I hope to be back in the groove in mid-October and get some pictures "up" that don't get me in any trouble! :)
Also waiting for a camera on back-order to replace my beloved Powershot G7(although I still have my Canon Rebel XT to keep me warm at night).
The G7 met an unusual demise so now a G9 is expected as soon as Canon gets one to my dealer.
It will be nice to have RAW format back for my point-and-shoot photos.

Doyle -- I got the impression this venue has been closed for quite some time and the rooms are being converted to a pied-à-terre arrangment. All the real money was supposed to be in condos. I wonder with the market as it is if they might have made a mistake.
Thomas is not one of mine! I know that only two came from my nest -- that is my story and I am sticking top it!
