thansk a lot Subhrajit for your kind comment, even dayshot, there was lot of trees roundly and it was pretty shadowed that area so let me play with long exposures and color filters on my lens and the leafs was so many that there are pretty stuck there and unmoved from the water...

The Magenta beauty. Personally I would have preferred the normal colour but this one looks fine for me because the base photo is really top quality. Slow shutter speed was what the doctor ordered and you used it to perfection John.

Hi John,
A pretty fairytale image:) I am sure I just saw a water sprite dive under the water:) A beautiful little waterfall. I like the composition and the textures and tones of the leaves.

nice one John. more natural colour might be more interesting.. and at least you have a 15cm waterfall near your place. in the concrete jungle that i live , there is nothing like this also

Michele Carlsen Michele Carlsen   {K:146013} 8/9/2007
This is another good shot but for me the color is not as pleasing ...It is good but the tint altho you attempted to make it 'Hot, hot , hot' for the project just seems a bit pinkish...
If you could make it more rich it would work I think ...but just my opinion only of course... I love your work and never know how to make it better-- T
This time I do feel a deeper color would do it- ( deep red) altho I know this would be very hard, I beleive YOU could do it if you felt the way I do .... Still a good image John ...very nice leaves, and love the flow of the water.

Cheers, & hugs,
michele~

Hi John,I think you’ve done the right choice to select it as colour, as the natural elements do help to be excellent contrast, the water motion effect enhance the composition.
well composed work! 8++++ best regards, riny

Dave Arnold Dave Arnold   {K:55680} 8/9/2007
A waterfall is a waterfall, John, no matter the height. It gives the opportunity to shoot water in motion and you have done a fine job at that. I like the coloring on this one, too. I think it better portrays a fall scene than the "haunted" version.

Best,
Dave
