Bummer Bek...know what you're going through, the hubby got the same thing about two months ago :( ...not fun, but also managed well with the meds.
Not a bummer...people want to pay you to do something you love to do, sweet! My two cents...go for a Canon, I'm partial and I know it will irk Doyle to no end... ;).

Hey Barn, been sick. I got shingles, but luckily only a mild case and the good Doc gave me some very groovey tablets that kept it so.
Also am on the hunt for a new camera. Am becoming very frustrated with the Kodak and what it can't do. I know it's not always about the camera, but the photographer....but this time it's the camera!
I have had a few people asking me to do some portraits (some that I don't know) and a couple of weddings as an informal but still paid photog, and the Kodak is a little unpredictable with reaction times and the flash has a mind of it's own, so I have to say no.
So now I am doing the whole Canon/Nikon thing....which is a bit of a pain, as they both have pros and cons, and it depends on who you ask as to what their preferences are.
So.....that's it for me, am so confusededed!! LOL

Robin, that is such great news that Tyler will be on the transplant list, things can only get better from here  .
He sure has come along way and is such a fighter. Such amazing strength for one so little.
Many kisses (very hygenic ones!) and lots of snuggles and hugs sent his way and yours.
