Much like diffuse strokes of colors on canvas, Aniko, and as such quite interesting to look at. The overall geometry is very well balanced. Quite usual as a non-focus image though.

Heavens, Paul. Don't tell me you're psychic/telepathic, too? :)
I was "talking to you" (yes out loud) yesteday. I was thanking you for telling me about that programme to help remove digital noise, as I recently borrowed a digital camera again in low light and made a "nice" (in my opinion) portrait (I like low key very much and the warmth of tungsten lighting, as you know...)
Once, months and months ago, you had helped me with a low light digital image, explaining that digital cameras need a wider aperture in low light, otherwise they tend to really underexpose, which causes a lot of noise. (I remember... I am an attentive "student"...lol...)
Well, yes... That's what happened with this portrait I made. It's a bit noisy (which does not look like film grain, or it wouldn't bother me...) :) :)
I can't get used to digital cameras, really, and very recently had some mishaps with my old film equipment. Thus, the borrowing of a digital camera...
So, as I ramble and rave here, I believe you might have "heard" me yesterday as I was thanking you for all your kindnesses toward me and I really do miss you and other good people here at UF...
You have nio idea how much I needed your 5 little words today as I opened my mail... 5 little words, Paul, that make me feel as though perhaps there's room for a life...

Oh, silly Ani. You know I like it. It took thought and has meaning.
But, sadly, yes, Shirley had a birthday. Rumor has it, though, they've committed her to a nursing home and confiscated her camera and Paintshop Pro. She can only post when she briefly escapes and goes down to the Internet Cafe. But they are wise to her and I hear they usually can cut her off at the pass.

I think perhaps I am a day early with your Birthday Greeting, as it is the 19th here still... lol... but I didn't want to be late! :)
I had hoped to make an image of a different subject, but no matter how I "tried", I could not get the lighting "right" for it. (Another day perhaps...)So I went back to the old tea light candle lighting with a floweras I have had "success" with that combination in the past... lol...
I do hope you appreciate this symbolic impressionist attempt to capture the "flaming passionate movement" of a single rosebud.
