I am just shortly back from Kamchatka and flying out first thing tomorrow morning to Almaty, Kazakhstan, Joungari bound for a month's time. Yura's has completed another exterior design project and finally wired into the net. He's doing OK. He even figured out how to use Skype.
You're right about the vastness. The area is completely wild and teaming with Ursus Arctos, i.e brown bears.
