Yeah, it is north of Yosemite and very pretty up there... not so crowded. Lassen is just a mini version of Yellowstone and kind of a best kept secret bypassing all the crowds. That was my first visit there and I am definately going to go back again. Fountain of youth? You said my other picture was blurry so I figured it was age and I thought I'd throw in a photo where I was younger.... it worked, you didn't say I looked blurry! haha... now I have to manage never to meet anyone in person, face-to-face, from here lest I scare them half to death!
Well, I'm off to the coast to MacKerricher State Park & Salt Point State Park in Mendocino County to knock some years off my life....... see ya in a week!

Geeze, Lassen National Park? You guys have so many National Parks, I can't keep track. This must be north of Yosemite? (I'll look it up).
Great landscape, very dramatic view!
Hey, did you know you look like a teenager? You must have found the fountain of youth.. I know I didn't.

When God had made the Earth & Sky
The flowers & the trees
He made all the animals
And all the birds & bees
And when His work was finished
Not one was quite the same
He said: " I'll walk this Earth of mine
And give each one a name".
And so he travelled land & sea
And everywhere He went
A little creature followed Him
Until its strength was spent
When all were named upon the Earth
And in the sky & sea
The little creature said "Dear Lord,
There's not one left for me".
The Father smiled & softly said:
"I've left you to the end.
I've turned my own name back to front
And called you DOG, my friend :)
