We simply must go out and see those whales, Michele! I´ll tie you up and drag you onboard some boat*LOL* Unless of course my fellowmermaid wants to swim out there - I think I prefer the boat;-)
A spa- wow I´ve never been to such a place, not even to a hairdresser*LOL* Good that she´s doing well with her business and nice for you being able to get some sisterdiscount I imagine:-)
A place in Panama - unusual place to have a summercottage! You must go there and enjoy the weather and photograph all day long:-)
Yes, when I sometimes will be able to visit you we MUST take care of Bella and walk her- what fun that would be:-)

Yep they sit on the banks of the river, sit in boats, and a few stand in the river but its not necessary..... It seems like thousands of fishermen and women do this during the season and eat well all winter long..I did that when I was married ...a 30-50 lb. or 60 lb. salmon can feed lots of people for a loong time.I even tried to sell one to a restaurant when we had too many :))

Surprising photo since it never dawned on me that private people catch salmon in boats... I just assumed that boats would be for commercial fishermen and private people stood in the streams... but then, I don't know fishing, either.

I bet the whales and dolphins were busy..but now the salmon are in the bay and some already up stream as I've seen may people fishing the Salmon river, already ....
Thank YOU for the sweet comment about Bella ... My sister is too busy ((( she has a new bussiness going on --a spa )))very fancy ....
She offers facials, massages, manicure, hair-cuts..the whole shabang then they(her & hubby)) plan on spending time in their brand new condo in Panama ! I can go visit sometime it sounds warm + wonderful and very international---[especially for mermaids :))

It does get very interesting especially when the salmon start jumping ...I have seen it where the fish jumps right inside a boat as their scales get very itching when they head up the river - it is amazing :))
