Thank you dear Michele for stopping by and for writing.. I changed the photos project as I guess not many people know the Merlion anyways !! So it's not that famous !! Haha !
The Merlion is just that the head of a lion and the body of a fish, it's inspired by the story of the discovery of singapore by the legendary Sang Nila Utama who saw a lion while hunting on the island ..
This statue is almost to singapore what the Eiffel tower is to paris !! It's the trademark symbol of Singapore.. There are 5 of these statues in different sizes actually but I think this is the most original !I'll leave the rest of the reading to you.. Thanks again for looking and writing..

Great shot aLi and it could also have been in the 'Totally Cool' catagory- I had an image once I could not make up my mind do I put it in 2 catagories :)) That is not so professional I think BUT sometimes it just works out that way..
I have not read about the Merlion yet...but I will because it reminds me of a mermaid AND a lion mix -haha!! I do like it very much thou - !!
