About	I can't be certain as to the identity of this very small creature (less than 1 cm.) The Proturan family comes closest to describing the features. Image about 3:1.

Thanks Joggie! I looked it up according to your directions and it can not be anything but a ladybug larva! I am a rank amateur in not thinking of a larval stage for this creature.

Hi Eb

This seems to be the larval stage of a Ladybird (Family: Coccinellidae). Not sure about the species though. Like the adults, the larvae is carnivorous and feed on plant lice and other small insects found between the foliage of plants. Regards - Nice to see you are giving the Micro Nikkor a go!

Eb - This insect would really "disappear" in certain surroundings. Nice eye.
