About This was taken near Siauliai in Lithuania. It is an amazing site - this picture only covers a tiny piece of it. There must be over 100,000 crosses there - truly breathtaking.

Lithuania is especially dear to me as my dad grew up there. He always wanted to go back to visit but alas, it was not to be as he died before he could return. I was happy to go in his stead.

I like cemeteries: quiet places. But some many crosses, so close together... amazing! And I like the colors and all the details.
