Should I say that this is not fearful, I would lie, Ian! But it has that kind of subtleness that magnifies the interest and makes one wanting to look and see more. I don't know of the black band at the top is really matching the rest your set of colors. Still the biggest part of the image is very bound to those rather dark, or if you wish also "dirty" colors that support the atmosphere of something like a dream, the remembrance of which decays by the time, but of which the spectator knows that it meant something.
