Fog is very tricky to photograph. Because of the varying tonality you often end up with grain which you may or may not have intended. The complementary problem is lack of tonal range, unless you have a strong light source somewhere. Here I think you have an interesting concept that doesn't work as well as one would like. The vertical trunk on the right is a little too close to the right edge, throwing the composition off a bit (to my eye anyways). I think it would have been more effective had you moved a couple of feet to your right. The reflections don't come across very strongly. That may have been helped if you waited until the fog was starting to lift and you had a little stronger light source. Just my 2 cents, certainly not meant as anything but suggestions.
