Yep Suvro - I think a P&S digital is something that is very child friendly - you take a shot and instantly show it to them - so that keeps them happy.

Nicely captures portrait. I love child photography and seen all different responses from the kids when trying to photograph them. Some are very free in front of the camera and will happily pose, and some others will cover face, turn back, or even run away. But I have never seen a reaction like this one.
Now my question is, is there a lens that will create the opposite effect? :)
