Thanks a lot for the reply and the description of the situation, Noemi!
But you know it is exactly that kind of imperfectness that makes up for a live one, except of course you are with the VIPs of photographers somewhere in a "secured" place.
Still I wonder, what about going the other way around and panning the motion? Could that work too?
Cheers,
Nick

Thanks Keith appreciate your comment. Yes the hard part is not having a tripod in low ambient light, but hey let’s face the challenge. I’m sure there will be another time where the situation will need to be confronted truly - minus well get used to it ;). Be well.

Thanks Ali. It’s basically what Nick says, no time for sophistication. More like what you see is what you get... (sometimes). :)

Thanks Nick, there wasn’t much light as one could expect in these places. Fortunate or unfortunately the widest F in my bag is a Zenitar, the one downside is sharpness isn’t that great thus the focus results.
As far as the framing, being swayed by shoving crowds left and right as I tried to narrow in…well I guess it doesn’t get much ‘livlier’ than that, ha ha. Be well.

Nice capture Noemi. Looks like a country band. Hard to do with natural lighting. Cheers Keith

It only needed a less motion blurry look, or perhaps even more, Noemi. As it is it can't really decide which side it's on - and I don't mean the hand of the guitar player but rather her head. Or was that a bit less exact focus?
Anyway, the frame is quite that, what I would name "live". Not much sophistication as it has to be fast, but exactly that makes the difference between the studio work where everything is perfect, to the more raw but also more sincere approach of the gig.
All the best,
Nick

It's a great shot, stage photos are not easy because of the motion and the not strong lighting, but you get them very well...plus an excellent frame about the way you get the two backgrounded persons at the corner of your frame. Excellent!!! Best regards!
