Hi Paul. Thanks for your comment and I surely appreciate it. Yeah, you are surely right, if I would have opened the aperture it might be better, because the background would be more unsharp. Well, I am getting more use to the D5, I mostly work with the Nikon D2x, and it indeed needs more improvement, because the cameras work totally different.
Well never the less, I have noticed that you don't post any images anymore because you are willing to give more criticism. As I can remember I have given some critiques to you in the past, and I do believe your images where quit good. So my question isī, why no longer any posting of your images? Did someone upset you?
Hope to hear from you and many thanks again.
Sascha

Nice family shot here Sascha. I like the colors and the set up. The boys holding the big leaves and the middle with her arm around them is very effective. The depth is about right and if I were to make one suggestion that would just to be careful about the background. The tree looks like its coming out of her head. The shallow depth of field helps a bit but better yet move them slightly one way or the other.
Nice capture and memories.
Congrats!
