They do most of its foraging as flycatchers do, catching insects on the wing.

They are named for Meriwether Lewis, co-leader of the western "Expedition of Discovery" in the early 1800's.
This guy was at least 60 yards away, so I did not get the details that I was hoping.
Maybe next time he'll let me get closer.
