Dear Waiting forever, many thanks for your comment. And, of course, I saw your collection of the flowers. It is excellent. I like so much warm tones, but red-green combination all time put me in trouble...And with so sunny weather this trouble always increases.. Dear Arif, many thanks for your attention to my shots. I am glad that you see them with pleasure. And with this told zinnia (more then 1 meter in the height) I choose this angle just to have in the same shot the flower and its green leaves :). With kind regards, Larysa.

Dear Fabrice, this a little course of botany :) This is Zinnia, it arrived to Europe from Mexico and very good plants in the gardens and at the balcons. This example was more then 1 meter of the height but I had also the smaller, less then 15 sm, with flowers with highly packed petals ...In my garden they were rose, red, yellow, white, violet and sometimes double colored. But I like so much red, since when I try to take shot with red-green composition it put me always in the troubles...

Larysa, this is lovely flower indeed, I like flowers too, and have a great collection of shots of them in mine.
Your shot is beauty but this fitter that you used for it, isn't useful.
Warm and saturate colors are eye catch and interesting for me always.
