Thanks Ken, I have both a 5D and a 30D. I am still not sure whether the ff 5D gives you more resolution than the 30D with the 1.6 crop factor advantage. When you crop a 5D down to the size of 30D image the 12.8mp 5D is actually giving only 5mp. I still prefer the 5D for the superior IQ, AF, ISO performance etc. In fact, I seem to get more keepers with the 5D.

Nice capture of the Downy Joe, I can just imagine the print quality with your 5D and 300mm f/2.8 combo.
