The vertical presentation is so effectve here. The trees help emphqsize the immensity of the scene. Somehow, the shadow on that rock right near the bottom is eye catching. Great shot.

Great shot done in b/w - you can even see patches of snow that were turning to ice where the sun started to melt the area. Nice composition - the trees have your eyes moving upward and the "valley-type" areas of the rocks from the top right to the bottom right of center of the shot move your eyes back down.
