Hi Todd, thanks for the comment! I was in Ottawa just after the New Year. I go a few times a year to visit my Mom and Sister, usually just for a few days. I'll let you know next time! This shot was taken just off Carling Ave., behind the Lincoln Fields bus station.
Dave.

Dave,

When were you in Ottawa? You should have looked me up. It would have been great to meet you in person. Please let me know the next time you are coming this way and I'll be happy to give you the tour.

Where exactly was this taken? Well seen and captured.

Todd

Excellent composition, the snow on the main brunches here is very helpfull to get clear the brunches into that 'net' of ....millions brunches, and that is a great element here, excellent shot.

I like the composition and cropping here. You almost feel you are looking at an abstract painting featuring patterns and lines. You have a very good eye to recognize the potential of this shot. Del.

Great eye for patterns, Dave! You made it look like a natural puzzle, the pieces of which have been carefully put together on an image of unusual integrity. The three main zones, snow, snow and branches, and branches, harmonize very well the overall look.

Could it take a bit more contrast against that kind of "haze" again? It would make the upper zone a bit more powerfull, wouldn't it?

All the best,

Nick
