About New camera, one of two new lenses I just got. This is one of the first images I took. Sugar, along with the other 2 dogs, always make convenient subjects...

Oh, and until I got the Sigma 28-70 f/2.8, the 17-85 was my primary lens. I love it. (I just needed something a little sharper than my 'nifty fifty' for portraits).

Brigitte,
e-mail me and I can explain how you can easily acquire eager models. ;)

Thank you much, Paul! I see you have the 17-85 IS lens also... I have it too and will post some pics from it soon. I like this 50mm f/1.8 as it is a very good lens (as close to L-series as you can get without spending the big $$$)... and makes an excellent portrait lens with the 1.6 crop factor with my camera. Now if I can just get some classy models like you have, I'd be set! :)
