Deb, the "meaning" is often only a diffuse one. It does exist, but it is not always "exactl ypositionable" on a special distinct place. Sometimes it is so diffuse that it allows many interpretations but no real sharp definition - and that's what psychology does too ;-)
This one could be just a scene - a veryinteresting one with all the people embedded in some strict architectural geometry, which will last much longer than the people themselves. So there is something "permanent" and also the potential change that we expect in the next seconds - change of people, of their distribution, and the like. Their rather dark appearance makes them to almost "potential" protagonists, in the sense of being exchangable, or even disposable. Not really protagonists for ever but just for this moment ripped out of spacetime continuum.
The grain fits very well the lighting too as it makes the image have also some element of "fuzzy" definition, though the details are also present in the whole perpective that you chose to take.
Perhaps you just continue taking images like this?
Cheers,
Nick

Thanx Mart. but I wanted o capture the people inside the architecture. so for me .. it did not create any harm ... rather adds to it. :)

I love the shot because of the fact you brought into it the full length of the pillars and the difference of light outside and dark inside. With the grittiness you create an athmosphere of a time long ago. But if you look at the people you see that they are modern day tourists. The photo you've taken is proof of the reason the tourists are there. And still I think that you rather would like to not have them there in your shot. It's a catch 22 really. One that I always am frustrated with but can't blame others because I am there myself. So there is something there, as long as you have a good look at it. Kind regards, Martijn
