Oh, I assume a need for common definitions here? ;-)
Avi, I am not absolutely sure about that, but the stops, like for example f/9, etc, are the measure for aperture rather than for focal length? Focal length is measured by mm, like for example my beloved 24mm Canon FD - or do I live for so many years under a terrible misunderstanding about those basic things? Aaaaaaarrrgg - save me from my own UNknowledge, Avi!
I meant, if you shot that for example using 50mm, what would that look like under, say, 35mm and thus getting a more wideangle look with the associated exaggerated depth?

And I guess that he is smiling, and I do the same, Avi! A definition of space taken to the endth degree, as the implicit leading lines get accompagnied with the lines of shadows for a strict geometry that really *defines* the road! And then the walking persons adds the last finishing stroke here, making not only the direction of the perspective tangible, but also introducing enough motion for enhancing the importance of the frame of reference! It's much like drawing a velocity vector on a body on a sketch of coordinate axes, that makes absolutely clear what the depth is about.
The exposure supports that very very well. Enough details are on the image, and the shadows are black and strong, like additional hints drawn on the coordinates themselves.
What about a bit of exaggeration by using a shorter focal length, Avi? Could that bring an additional strength?
