Thanks Brigitte, As for where to find Wood Ducks it helps to monitor you local birding groups like Yahoo Central Valley Birds and the Sacramento Yahoo Bird group as you are in Sacramento. You should also check your local Mckinly Park Pond as there was a large flock of Woodies there a while back, I posted a couple of Wood Duck shots from Mckinly Park on 11/30/07.
