Hello dear John and thank you for the helpful comment ...i appreciate it so much and I know what you mean about losing the quality in cropping ...I do just want to say 'one ' thing that may make this 'abstract seem a bit too sharp '( maybe not ..but in-case ...
On the steps where it might look like sharpened too much is 'sand' but you may mean totally too sharp and I do appreciate your comment so much my dear :))

nice one... looks like a path and the wall looks like stairs, nice gold fealling Michele...
only I could ask for a bit less sharpness, perchaps some pixels does not looks so well...
hmmmm.... cropped.... well many times I cannot crop my photos because I lose lot of quality and really I'm trying to find a way to do that but even 8-10Mpix does not looks enouph to do that... lol... next time I try that with a 30mpix camera lol... :-D

Woops riny I cropped the sand out of the image ..( I forgot ))) and it is concrete on both side of the stairway top & bottom ..the color is from the sun , ( upper left)))but really enhanced and the lines are from each step ...

Hello my dear riny this is many steps down to the beach but I turned them Sideways ..and added color , ( or rather enhanced it boldly + alot )))
Does this help ? if you are able to turn this to the right..I think you could view it better as the sand is at the bottom of the steps .... just richly colored ...
