I think that it was really possible for me to try a shot from a more vantage PoV, Linda. I don't remember very well since it has been years since I shot this, but if I am not completely mistaken the street was wide enough for that. A second trip to Milan could prove useful and it lies not so far away from Lucerne.
Now, eliminate also the "teeth" at the top and it may be then more than just "OK". I assume that the balcony itself would turn to a good main actor over a scene with so many nice details of the walls at the left. But still the contrast to the simpler walls on the right could be a good thing to have.
So many things to think about - and I think now about ordering the tickets online!!! ;-)
Thanks a lot again!
Nick

Yes, even better!! Good suggestion Gustavo. I suppose if I were to make a suggestion in terms of composition, I might try shooting this from a more front on vantage point to the flower box on the left and yet enough of an angle to include the other building, and hopefully eliminating as much as possible whatever is between them. And of course without seeing the scene myself it is difficult to say...love it still!! :))

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the suggestion, Gustavo! At last somebody that also suggests what could be done better!
Well, I cloned the wires off and it brought something, Gustavo. But still I think that this was not the biggest problem. Maybe composition, maybe the lighting, but is still didn't change really much. (Attachment).
Thanks a lot and best wishes,
Nick

The baconies are indeed beautiful, Alida! But the image? Is that already a 7? I don't think so, and again I am very stunned about the fact that nobody here seems to find anything wrong like for example the very unfinished composition.
So, it's not the balconies in Milano but rather the *photo* of the balconies in Milano. Is it really so good this way?
Cheers!

The tones are OK to me too, Parehan, but I am very surprised to not read even a single comment on theses images about composition. They look all so "half" to me...
Cheers,
Nick

If I only had also the necessary skills for really finishing the composition at that time, Linda!
Thanks a lot for the nice comment.

Hi Yazeed and thanks a lot for the nice comment!
But it does have a very unfinished look too, doesn't it?

Oh well, the composition is "unfinished" again, isn't it Dave?
Thanks a lot!

Muy buena composición, aquí sin dudas los cables son lo que me molesta y pienso que fácilmente se podrían eliminar con un toque de PS. Felicitaciones!
