About language, sigh! Yes, it is hard indeed. But we *will* proceed on communicating even if it also takes some hands and feet gesturing around! Hablamos... EspagnolInglésAlemánGriegoManosPies but hablamos anyway! ;-)
As about knowledge and its availability, no Gustavo, it *is* available to anybody that has access to some PC even in an internet café, and this I consider one of the most important steps for really making knowledge accessible to everybody on this planet and not only the priviledged. Take a look for example at:

for mathematics. There are also many other analogous sources for other disciplines.
The thing about "imagining" is, that you simply don't imagine something that contradicts what is already known *and* at the same time present it as a possibility. It is crucial here to understand the importance of *both* events taking place at the same time!! When *both* happens at the same time, you are basically saying: "I know that what I say is no possibility but I present it as a possibility." And so it is really a waste of imaginative power hunting behind something (as a possibility) that simply is not a possibility. We should use our mental powers for fruitable things, or else we behave like alchemists searching for the stone of the wise.
This kind of hunt doesn't have to do with feelings, hopes, fears, joys and sorrows. It has to do ore with other things, like for example the fact that for some reason it is still not widely know that the concentrated knowledge is available to us, right there, online! We must use it! And believe me, the possibilities are then lightyears ahead of anything somebody could "imagine" out of blue thin air.

mmm, me cuesta un poco entenderte, mi ingles no es lo suficientemente bueno para tus comentarios y Google, menos!...:-)
Pero veamos, no dudo de los logros de la ciencia y no veo razones en negar lo que está probado y demostrado y en eso estoy de acuerdo con vos, aunque a veces ese conocimiento solo está al alcance de muy pocos...porque sin dudas la mayoría de las personas no viven precisamente en un docto campus universitario con enormes bibliotecas a unos pasos de distancia como vos. Por darte un dato, en mi país, el 50 % de las personas viven en la pobreza, y en 20 % en la indigencia, te imaginarás que de ciencia no te resultará fácil hablarles, ellos más bien quieren comer, abrigarse, sentirse seguros...
Pero además ni el universo y mucho menos la experiencia humana terminan o se explican con las matemáticas. Al decir de Brian Eno, hay un universo, otro universo si querés, "before and after science": los mundos interiores de las personas, los anhelos, los miedos, los sueños, los sentimientos, las emociones, el horror, etc...etc... Gran parte del arte se ha hecho para tratar de expresar, representar y trasmitir estas cosas... por eso mi punto de vista respecto de la fotografía es diferente del tuyo, no me enfoco tanto en las cuestiones técnicas, que conozco muy bien. Como vos, yo sé tomar buenas fotos. Tampoco en simplemente mostrar con mirada documental hechos o lugares, yo me enfoco en expresarme a través del arte fotográfico, y por qué no, también del arte gráfico, por eso te cuesta entenderme, como sin dudas a mí me cuesta entenderte a vos.
Que NO estamos aquí solo para hablar de fotografía tal cómo vos decís, lo estamos demostrando por el absurdo, finalmente además de fotografía, terminamos conversando sobre otras cosas, sin dudas mucho más trascendentes que la regla de los tercios...;-)
Bueno mi querido amigo, me haces pensar más de la cuenta, es tarde, Germán no nos da cuartel, y yo me voy a dormir!....

Assimov is indeed extremely intersting! Provided we read what he writes and not what we "fantasize" about. And that's not matter of personal psychology, Gustavo! Assimov didn't write for science fiction fans, but for anyone who reckons the science itself!
In other words, we can dream and doubt only what is not found and proven yet! If we doubt what is already proven strictly mathematically then we are no more worth than to still live in the middle ages, when human being were burned alive because of the "fantasies" of many too many mediocre minds who simply wouldn't accept what science *proved*!!!!
Sorry, I can't stand any more of that stupid "fantasizing"! This is not why I spend all my days and nights over books and math papers, Gustavi! And if we think that anybody can "fantasize" whatever he/she wnats, the OK! Tell me more about this when you start your car, OK? How many miserable minds "fantasized" about generating energy out of nothing? Huh?

En cuanto a la maquinaría del mundo, sin dudas no existe una máquina que los humanos podamos crear y que "explique" o en definitiva "sea" el universo, y si existe... solo es posible para los dioses, pero nosotros, no creemos en los dioses...!:-)
De todas formas los humanos siempre querremos ser dioses y construiremos infinitamente infinitas torres de Babel...:-) (o hasta donde la entropía lo permita..:-))
Sobre esta idea te menciono dos textos que vale la pena leer: "Inferno I, 32" de Jorge Luis Borges, que podes leer el about de mi foto http://www.usefilm.com/image/1314037.html, y un cuento de Isaac Asimov, que se llama "the last question"...

A very exact capture of the machine's parts with fantastic lighting that makes the many different surface textures of steel quite tangible. I find the way the many different parts as they seem to form in all their massive weight simply out of light really fascinating! A good eye for complicated yet not at all confusing interdepended parts that make the whole, and an even better job on capturing that.
As about humans, gods, and machines, Gustavo, there is absolutely no sense to wonder about what is already found and proved. There is no machine that fully explains the universe, both for humans as also for gods. And this not because we or gods are not able to observe and build machines the right way, but because any formal system will either be incomplete or inconsistent. (Goedel - and after the same theorem there exist no gods too.)
I wonder how long such fundamental things will be simply ignored, and how long "conclusions" will be made, like those in the middle ages about "what kind of hell comes after the end of the flat world". And that even decades after Galileo.

Hola David!, me alegra mucho que te guste!.
La verdad siempre soy medio chambo con el enfoque, pero en este caso creo que el de la foto original era bueno, tené en cuenta que hay elementos incluso que son sintéticos por lo cual al no haber pasado por la cámara no tiene un enfoque real, por ahí es la atmósfera que traté de darle...
En cuanto a las opciones, bueno a mi siempre me cuesta elegir, hago muchas y nunca se bien cual es la mejor, pero te digo algo, a mi siempre la duda me surge en función de la opinión de los demás, esto es, "cual será la que guste más a los otros, a los que van a verla"...
Desde un tiempo a esta parte, me pregunto mas bien, cual es la que me gusta a mí, y si además después gusta a los demás, bien bravo!...
Creo que cuando uno deja de preocuparse por agradar a los demás (lo cual es muy fácil, los bellos atardeceres siempre agradan, por darte un ejemplo) y se busca lo que a uno le gusta verdaderamente, lo que además te expresa y conmueve genuina y honestamente, y si eso es original y novedoso, bueno ahí comenzás a tener un estilo. No sé, digo yo...ja...ja...

Muy buena Gustavo, un muy buen crop, lo unico que me parece le falta un poquito de foco. Pero bueno es mi sensacion.
Esta buena la escala de grises, y la iluminacion esta muy bien....me gusta mucho. Estan buenas las opciones tambien. a veces es dificil elejir..no ? a mi me pasa.
