About The R R S Discovery, of Robert Falcon Scott. is in dry dock at Dundee, as some remedial work is done on her hull she is now the centre of the very interesting Dicovery Centre.
Dundee is called City of Discovery. The ship was built here as there was a strong tradition of building Whaling ships for the local industry.

Immediately behind me is a slim railling, behind that the river. To my left is the Dock gate
(no admittance) and no raillings!!

Funny you should say that, John, because I know someone who used to do the latter... I do agree that the reflection is a vital part of this lovely photo. Are you saying that moving around the dock to get the prow in would have eliminated
the reflection? If so, too bad. And we don't photoshop such things into our photos when Nature doesn't provide them, do we! (No, no, I know...)

Beautiful clarity and a long range of tones. Your Foca/Oplex and Fomapan are serving you well. I wonder why you chose not to include the prow, and gave us more of the dock behind the stern? I keep wanting to swivel the panohead a little to the left.
