The eggs are nice and bright, but I get the impression that you shot this in low light with a flash. Was that the case?

How surprising dear Bobot, I did just the same,
singing this song when I saw our Dutch 'merel' is
called Black Bird, they have this special, happy
sound, and I can tell exactly when they are
threathned by cats and other enemies outside, I
used to go out of my bed to chase the cats
away..loll. just in my pyama's running outside
barefeet:)) Can you see it? Well, thats me...:))

This is a wonderful find, very interesting and the colors are like precious stones..

Actually I am wondering why I never saw these coloured eggs before, as the black bird is very
common here, we all have them in our gardens;)
Yes I did climb some, you have to take some risks
sometimes..loll

Lolllllll....my sweet Alida, very happy you like my blue little eggs, the black bird is very
common over here, the female is brown and not really pretty, so I was amazed about the colourful

As John and Nicole agree I never seen before a azure color birds eggs. Jen you are so courageous,smart,cleaver and cretive dear Jen. I never imagine to capture the birds nest. You really climb to the three for taking this shot dear Jean ???

Do agree with you dear John, these colours didnt seem to fit with a common black bird I thought, also too easy for cats and other nasty birds to find them! To be honest we dont think the little ones will survive as the nest is to easy to grab...don't want to see that:((

Very nice shot Jen...well blue eggs? haha... ok I know there are real and lot of birds do azure eggs but always that is a unique color for me and I like that... I hope you will be there when the little birds will come out of the eggs for some very exciting photos...

Thanks so much dear Ben, I had to be very careful not to disturb the eggs and mom, otherwise I would have loved to lay them more in the middle..loll
The colours amazed me, this blue with those black spots, wouldn't expect this.....
