Explosive, that's the first thing that came into my mind when I looked at this. I think it is because of what happens is you blow on a Dandelion. Outstanding capture dear Nicki, great clarity, details and DOF. As usual your presentation is outstanding.

Yes Alvin I used Canon for over 20 years and now I wanted to change to Nikon.It's different from my Canon but very COOL:))))I have the lens 18-200 (with VR)and the 80-400!Also a great one!!!You are right Dandelions a nice but not in the yard..LOL!!!

I have had since 20 years Canon always satisfied with.But now I wanted to change a little bit.I know from friends of mine that Nikon is a good camera and so I decided to buy a Nikon too.I wanted to buy then the new model and I have to say that I'm very satisfied with.It is different from the Canon but very COOL!

Nicole Wow! You went from a Canon to a Nikon D300 W/18-200 I assume VR lens. I have the 18-200 lens but I am so behind times with the D200. I always take photo's of Dandelions because I like the way they look but hate them in my yard. Your image is outstanding. Cheers Alvin

after using Canon 20D i see you have got Nikon 300D instead of Canon 40D ,why?
i know it is much more expensive than canon 40d with very clear lcd.
