fragments of lichen cling to a tree trunk in the forest, back lit by the shiny white trunk of another, behind. why? this made me think that many photographs contain too much information, bang, there it is, full frame, no part of the available space left un-filled with stuff, flat, bland, pointless?.....maybe not, how would you ever know, the image is left to do all the work, no story, no information about the thought that went into the shot, just 'bang' here is my picture of whatever, no explanation, no hint of a feeling or emotion, no soul.
'and now' I stand alone, quietly concealed, subdued by light, some parts of me you cannot see, or understand, some you will not, ever!
Hello Claude, thank you so much for your message, pasta and wine sounds good, trouble is, I haven't had a drink for eight years, don't know what I am missing, do I! thought I was a little unkind to the many people who contribute to the uf site but still I feel that making pictures is an affair of the heart and taking pictures is only to experience a fraction of the joy. keep well, kind regards, david.
David... I want to thank you...you've spoken with your heart..... I dont go.....you dont go...Just waiting for this soul rising David & is capacity to catch beautiful moments of life & emotion, here, just in the corner.......
...only one thing i want to do for the moment is having good time with you...with a very fine red vine and italian pasta.... .........just talking about life...& about what's precious for us.... (xcuse my bad english) You still got my adress email.. Take good care of you
I like that silhouette abstract, I thought it was an ant. read you about.. I agree why not!! I think it is a great composition, lots of interest in it, even the break in the trunk of the tree and of course the light in between these trees. That's the way I perceive this shot. good one :) regards
