Many thanks again, Dave! Indeed, that mountain is just as if it was meant for a good background there.
Cheers!

Many many thanks again, Gustavo! I am glad if you like it since the presence of the shops and the people was something I also considered good for the scene.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Andre!
I see very well what you mean. Though the general mood should be darker because of the mood of the day, I went too far, didn't I? In a back-engineering sense it needed more exposure, and so I find myself again in the old still unsolved problem of max. dynamics range because of the highlighted mountain at the background. A real good problem, that is.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Visar! I can only be glad if I managed to keep an eye also for the everyday life under such a magnificent landscape.
Cheers!

Another good street scene, and the background of the mountain is very appropriate with the ski shop in the foreground, Nick! Dave.

Una buena alternativa para el mismo lugar, esa tienda de ropa en esquina parece muy interesante y la gente le pone vida a escena. Buena exposición, buen encuadre, en fin, una muy buena foto.
Un abrazo!

Hi Nick, As Visar says below, the composition is fine and works well with the town setting and mountains in the background. The only thing I might tend to change myself would be to brighten up the building and street area to about the same level as your "Old Street" image. Andre

i am thinking about the composition as being a great one in association with the timing and tones of it- the curved streed lingering deep towards the mountains emphasises much of depth in it, adding to it people in motion, city windows and shops and ski clothing exposed - well, it makes it lively, very lively!
there's apsolutely nothing here i might raise any suspicion! :)
congrats Nick, v.
