A very nice shot Dave. Where I keep my boat there are several hatches of both ducks and geese each year. I enjoy watching them when they are this size. Unfortunately the snakes and the turtles only allow a few to reach adult size.

He looks like a cockey little guy Dave :)
My bet is he won't be by himself long. Usually the Mother and Father goose work together to keep the family intact.

That's a very good study again, especially for the sharp details both on the small bird and also on the water, Dave! The very character of the young duck (is that a duck) was burned very exactly but also sympathetically on the image. I think also that the pair of complementary colors (blue/yellow) makes it look very vivid. Only some smaller areas of overexposure on the yellows, which on the other hand makes the strong sunlight visible, under which that youngster was discovering the world.

Cheers!

Nick

really thee are lovely... and yea, they don't want leassons for that haha... beautiful colours... I could only ask for a bit less spots on the water's texture... that perchaps is because of a photo crop?
be well Dave!
