Great shot dear Keith. Excellent angle! Cricket seems like a fun game, not really played in the US but it looks like fun. Excellent work my friend. I will try to catch up with the rest of your images soon. Big hug and kiss, Julie.

hahahaha you just made my day. They have 11 players on each side and the idea is for one side to bowl the other side out. 2 batsmen batting at the same time. Bowler must keep straight arm when bowling and runs in to get more speed up. You can get them out by hitting the stumps and knocking the bails off the top. They can be caught by the fieldsmen and they can be run out by knocking the bails off with the ball when the batsmen are running between wickets and they are out of there crease still. Also if the batsman stops the ball with his leg pads when in front of the wickets, the umpire will give him out. There is different lengths of games. Test match between countries goes for 5 days. Then there is one day games where each side has 50 overs (6 bowls per over) to do there thing. Hope this is some help lol. Margaret has gone back to work even though she isnt 100% yet. Hopefully she will recover more over the weekend. Big warm hugs to you. Keith

Nice shot dear Keith !! I know nothing of this sport - I studied your next shot for awhile and realized it could not be basesball ( I Know - I'm blonde))) so I thought hopefully you would tell me in this image about the game - it sounds very rough... but it's a great shot and I too am sorry about Margret being sick :(( by now I hope for sure she is much better !!!
Excellent color and timming !!!! 9+++++++++++++++++++++++ Hugssss, Michele~

Great action, with the ball in the air and the sense of movement in the bowler. There's also an excellent contrast against the background. But that umpire appears to have his eye on ... the camera!

Great action shot. Good timing with 1/1500 sec and sharp as a tack. Is that JR on the b/g with his big texan head ? I mean Elvis is alive, so is JR ! Harry

You are right Nicki. Funny looks from the concentration. I was about 80 mtres away and the white cloths were tricky against the background. I used spot exposure on the white and then just bought the background up. Big beary hugs. Monkey
