Wonderful souvenir of an unknown story. The misty clouds and the soft desert colors add largely to some sort of macabre atmosphere.
Well done ,
cheers, Paul

Appreciate the help.
A couple of places you will find some cars well worth the film is 3miles before the the Skidoo mine on the right you will see a water tower, walk into the ravine you will see i think 2 cars and 1 pick-up all were neat shoots ( I think this one came from there). Also @ the mine there is another car we got some real nice stuff. Take the road from Death valley to Beatty just past Rhyolite about 2 miles look to the left in a shallow ravine that one did well @ sunset. Good luck!!! Mark

thanks Mark...do appreciate the info. yes, DV is a notorious place for getting flat tires..i have been to racetrack and those 30miles of gravel road took my brains out of mind...nevertheless, a wonderful place for landscapers...i would probably return in winder next...

PS: just a suggestion, if you hit the "reply..." (on the top right side of the comment) and post then i would get a email notification...in that way i would know better of the communication)

Great moody shot, the composition, subject matter, lighting combine to creat a very interesting attractive shot.

Nice shot - tones and colour are great. The car gives a real look of death.

Debjit.. I do appreciate the thought and ideas. Other peoples ideas always gives me more to think about as far as possibilties. I agree it would of gave a bit more seperation. This car was about 14 miles SE of Stove pipe wells. The way we have found to locate auto's when looking is follow the old paths and look in ravines. If I remember correctly this wasn't to far off a paved road 1/4 mile or so. Be prepared to get flat tires we suffered 2 flats and a broken jack....
Appreciate the comments and look...Regards Mark

wonderful shot Mark...i would have stopped down a bit more and bring out the contrast between the sky and the wrecked car...but that is a matter of personal taste. nevertheless, a beautiful shot. btw, where did u location this car...i have seen pictures before but never been able to locate one myself :-)
