Your photos are stunning! What a surprise to find you here. I see you've been visiting NC. Are you shooting only film? No experimenting with digital as well? Please take a photo of the ancient tree by Pesticide Research Lab. With your unique camera style, it will be wonderful. I still get homesick for Gainesville now and then.
And post more photos!

Thanks, Dirk, another photographer who likes old structures, and welcome aboard. B/W adds mood sometimes that can't be achieved with color, don't you think. Please visit again. Anson

I see from your portfolio, Brigitte, that you have an affinity for old houses too. See my above comment to Priscilla. Sorry about the loss of your puppy, but at least you still have Opie, and maybe even some others. Really like his portrait. We had a little mixbreed terrier we lost to cancer too, who was the standard against which all dogs will ever be measured. Even after 20 years we still mourn her. Thanks for the very nice comment. This old farmstead is owned by one of our somewhat distant neighbors here at the cabin in NC, Priscilla. I have photographed it many times, but just couldn't resist doing it again after they had decorated it for July 4. Although a sound looking structure, once you get past the tattered looking exterior, they haven't seen fit to restore it, although they have begun somewhat. Thanks for the nice comment. Regards. Anson

Stunning IR image, Anson! Love how the old home is covered by that snow white canopy of tree leaves. A very unique and original shot. Perfectly done! 7/7

Warm regards,
Brigitte
