I love the lighting dave, how the sunlight ...shining on the plants, the vivid green and also the darker background helps a lot here, the subject really works for the project...
best regards!

I find the reflections on the kids very well fitting the subject, Dave! The additional softness was a good idea. BTW, you could get that right out of the camera, couldn't you? (I hust had to say that! ;-))

Anyway, the green colors are completley fresh and vivid - they support the light very well! I wished there were less plants ("obstacles") between the kids and you, for allowing the main actors to appear as powerful as it gets. I guess the whole place was covered with the plants.

But still, why not putting the kids at the left of the image? (I.e. turn the camera to the right.) Wouldn't that make the composition better? Or perhaps a tighter crop? (Attachment).

Cheers!

Nick

A suggestion for a tighter crop

Nice colors and lighting. It looks like fun. I hope they do not get lost or you will never find them in that dense growth. Del.

Excellent shot Dave, captures the mood and atmosphere of the event perfectly. Great composition and use of light. So well I'm not sure you needed to provide the title.
Regards,
Joe
