Thanks a lot for the detailed report of the whole situation while shooting, Visar! Such situations should be really taken advantage of, but unfortunately most of the time they are just not used. So, many too many opportunities for authentical photography pass unnoticed and they don't come back again. But good to know that at least a Visar do not simply let them go.
Light can really generate "reality" - actually it does it all the time. And everybody has some own version of interpretation for that "reality". A second look on this one made me think of a hologram! Not the whole material object but only the isolated reflection behavior of its surface! You try to touch what you perceive as a "surface" and you hand simply goes through!
well, you know light- it does miracles in most unthought settings. like i was trying to do here, like i actually did, which study rather passed onto a succesful idea- I cannot really say i was lucky, or maybe i was, but i chose this one to show from all those other attempts- that hand there, stiff and firm, and his head towards it- made me think of many things, which even though it is the work of mine i still like to hear a few interpretation! in fact, that is the major reason- if i may say, to have done it! - the idea sprang from the moment i shot, my nephew was having fun playing around, and the moment the power went off, he started to feel uncofortable and screaming for light-- it is rather simple when you think of it, but then, it does have a powerful emotion that does not hesitate to show, in a most frustrating manner- 'like, does anyone has any f** idea what am i looking for'/ or something like that... and, in the lack of light, well, no one may have!!
The most frustrating something else I saw up to now in your new steps, Visar! What is that that has no real physical shape, but still is able to shape things? Right, it's light - and also its own absence! Plasticity made of almost nothing, that is! Or a vision made of zero mass! (Well, perhaps only *almost* zero!)
Very close to non-existence still something exists! The fuzzy contours of that being that doesn't seem to be interested at all for what I think of it! The subtle "lighting" which should rather be named "darkening" - for it shapes with darkness, and darkness is just another label for light. It only *is* there and that's puzzling! I guess because you just underline that not each and every existence has to be aware of the fact that I question it! No, it just *is*. And I may try what I like for finding some kind of connection with my own perception of it, but I guess that the set of connections will still remain the null set!
And though a null set, it still *is*. Which reminds me once again of the foundations of mathematics, in which you just can construct a whole universe out of the null set.
Hmmm, another scotch? Come one mate, do me that favor for you give me hard things to digest with your current portings! ;-) Hard, but so very interesting too!
