Thats a great use of shallow DOF. Really brings the focus into the fly and centre of the flower. Perfectly composed towards the edges as the petals fill out the frame. The yellow is quite overpowering, I guess it was reflecting off everything giving the scnee a strong color cast. Im not sure if you should tone it down in PS or keep it. Probably the latter.
