Already a 7 for such a photo, Gustavo? Well, thanks a lot, but... OK, I start shooting each any every stone I find and so I fill my portfolio with "excellent" images? ;-) It has its faults Gustavo, no matter of liking/disliking. I am relatively happy with this onie, but I think that for a 7 I must work much more. Still happy if you like it so much.

Martian seashore... now I see that too! Quite an original idea about that.
The series was at that time one of my main subjects as I was trying to somehow mimic the many typical "contemplative" postcards that we find so often in the shops. Then I had the impression that some of those forms are also good for abstractions, provided that the framing and DoF are appropriate. This is for example just some stone and a curve but one can go further and find something else in it. And indeed at that time I had the intention to do something for "encouraging" imagination. But now I rather think that it is better to not explicitly wish to do that. If it happens, it happens.
Interesting to see how goals and objectives change with time. And even more interesting is to see what people think of that.

Hi Nick,
My first impression of this one is of some kind of Martian sea shore. Actually most of the images in your current series seem to want to encourage our imaginations to see something other than what they really are. Clever framing tends to bring out people's imagination.
