Great series - I feel as if I am looking for Tom Mix, Gene Autry, the Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid, Roy Rogers, etc. Excellent idea to shoot some of our lovely desert in black and white.

Do like the composition in this - so much movement between the grasses leaning towards the left, the Spanish Bayonet and Mesquite tree(? I think that is what that cactus is called) leaning towards the right, and then the cracks and crevices in the rocks and mountains. Icing on the cake is the monsoon or storm cloud formations. Well seeen, well shot - thanks for sharing. PS - I think this one is my favorite.
